Participants for WOC 2013.

For the 2013 WOC, all National Federations that arrange a National Championship and/or World Othello Championship qualifications can send 3 players + 1 extra female player.

A nation that doesn't have a National Federation can ask WOC TD-group to send 1 player.

If you're interested in participating in the 2013 WOC, and you live in one of the named countries below, please contact your federation for information on how to qualify. (You can find how to contact your federation at the World Othello Federation homepage).

In order for any player to be properly registered to participate at the 2013 WOC, the respective National Federation Chairman must send the 2013 WOC T.D. an email with the required information. Before September 15th the chairman must send in the number of expected participants. Before october 1st the names of the entire team.

If you are interested in participating in the 2013 WOC, and you live in one of the countries that does not have a National Federation, but arranges National Championships, please contact the tournament director and we can help you contact the appropriate person. This also must be done before September 1st.

If you are interested in participating in the 2013 WOC and live in a country which does not have WOC qualifications or a federation, please contact the tournament director before September 1st.

Important:
A player is not registered for the WOC 2013 until they're listed on the WOC 2013 player list at the WOC 2013 homepage. Any player not on the list is not qualified for the WOC. It's important that the National Federation's chairman or contactperson responsible quickly contacts the tournament director after the national qualifications are done!

第一轮（夫妻对战）

Lot of laughter when Lari and Katie were drawn to play against each other at table 15.

Katie and Lari were very late, they arrived in the nick of time. They first had to drop of little Coby at the home of Tourney Director Mateusz Sosnowski. There is a fun othello rivalry between the two, When they came in at the coffee room after their game, they both were smiling.

第二轮（两个女生的对局）

Two ladies at table 7, Elena Averina and Caroline Odsell.

Tom Schotte from Belgium was one of the first to come in after round 2. He won against Alexey Dubov. He was happy with his 2 wins so far. His goal is to have at least 7 wins, but the belgian motto is: more is better. Arthur won against Marie lLightman. We spotted Marie taking cat nap on a chair after the game. I heard her accomodation is on a boat. Maybe the rocky creeky boat kept her awake last night?

The horse (Streif) is actually quite famous. Gustav II Adolf rode him to battle where he died. The horse it self died in 1635, and it has been preserved ever since.
